C. John Ablan

Dr. Ablan comes to St. Mary’s Hospital with several years of experience as an adult vascular and thoracic surgeon.

He graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his residency at the Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American College of Cardiology, American College of Chest Physicians, Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and the Society for Vascular Ultrasound. Previously, he was named among the top ten thoracic and cardiovascular surgeons in the state of Wisconsin.

Dr. Ablan has performed over 5,000 surgical procedures. His practice specializes in state-of-the-art vascular, endovascular, minimally invasive vascular thoracic, and laser vein surgery.
